Students become the Teachers

Thirty eight Year 7 students made a presentation to their parents and peers based on their experiences of Teaching and Learning at St Christopher’s Senior School since their arrival in September 2012.

Parents and students had the opportunity to view the Form Tutor Group display boards before entering the Hall and were welcomed by Masters of Ceremonies, Nadeem Benkhadra 7E and Karina Shetia 7A.

The presentation featured a range of slide shows and video clips to convey the rich experiences the students enjoy, complemented by student reflections on Learning in the Classroom, Extra-Curricular Activities, Measuring Potential,  Homework, Student Council and Community Service.

David Williams, Assistant Head of Senior School, gave the closing address and  Jessica Hoar, 7F performed Tartini’s Concertino  on Clarinet.

Kim Chadwick, Head of Year 7 commended the students on their enthusiasm, technical wizardry and the quality of their public speaking.
