Wheelathontastic!
Nursery’s Alyaa Bataineh, Louise Lonsdale, Sandra Zuberbuehler and Janet Palmer, wheeled around the prestigious Bahrain F1 Circuit and raised over BD250 to share between four local charities: Bahrain Downs Syndrome Society (BDSS), Bahrain Mobility International (BMI), Think Pink and the Migrant Workers’ Protection Society.
In their own distinctive way, they rode the same tracks as the F1 superstars and sampled the sights and atmosphere of the glamorous BIC while raising money for those in need. Despite creaky knees and sore backs, they had a very enjoyable day. A great big thank you to all of their sponsors!
