Working up an Appetite
Students in Joe Mulleague’s and Paula Carr’s Year 11 GCSE Art groups recently participated in a “Sculpture and Pizza evening”. Apart from enjoying a slice or two of pizza, it was an opportunity for them to develop and enhance sculpture pieces they started in the latter stages of Year 10. As you can see from the photographs, their work demonstrates no small degree of technical skill and a highly inventive approach to manipulating media and form. The work will feature in their GCSE Art Exhibition in May 2014.
