Friendly Footie

On Tuesday 11 March St Christopher’s played a friendly football match against The British School of Bahrain at our Saar campus. The girls were excited from the offset and quickly showed their organisational skills in asking Beatrice and Iona to lead stretches and passing practices. Both teams got off to a good start with some great passing and dribbling. Before long both teams had scored their first goal with the girls eager to score their next. After many shots, eventually the next goal was scored for St Chris. With the score now at 2-1 in St Chris’s favour, the girls were fully focused on scoring more. The final result was 5-1 to St Christopher’s with Alex Myatt, Grace Nahle, Jesse-Leigh Baker and Iona Reekie all scoring great goals! Sportsmanship was evident throughout when they wished the players good luck at the beginning of the match and were quick to congratulate BSB at the end. Well done girls! You have made St Christopher’s proud!
