Fun, Fun, Fun even with the Rain
The festive season started on 28 November, with our Festive Fayre at Saar. We were delighted that so many parents, children and members of the community joined us to enjoy the many games, activities, entertainment and stalls organised by the Friends of St Chris. Despite the downpours of rain, and the thunder and lightning, festive spirits could not be dampened and even Santa Claus himself managed to wade through the puddles with a very cheery’ “Ho! Ho! Ho!”
Children from across the school played festive music to a receptive audience. Guests of the Fayre were treated to a full musical array performed by the Primary Choirs, Ensembles and Senior School ‘unplugged’ bands. Meanwhile, the FOSC Café was in full swing, serving mince pies and holiday patisserie to a happy customers bedecked in festive colours and sparkle.
Commenting on the success of the event, Tim Mannings said “A huge thank you to the amazing FOSC team, all the parents, pupils and staff who helped make the day such a resounding success, with over BD 15,000 raised towards FOSC funds.”
