Competitors, take your Mark …
The SPARTA 1 mile race took place on a Thursday afternoon in March, the evening was cool which allowed all the competitors to contest to their best performances in this event. Following on from the SPARTA 1km race challenge, the entries were good with all age races very competitive. Some of the children had never run a mile before and all competitors finished in good time with ages ranging from age 4 – 16 years old.
This is the second successful athletic event that SPARTA has put on with a multi-event planned next term.
