Three Inspirations

The Senior School’s sixth IB Visual Arts Exhibition opened on Tuesday 4 April. Featuring work by Aysha Al Ameen, Joelle Almaz and Gabby Liandu, the Exhibition was opened by Mr Nick Wilson. The three students explored a range of themes in their work, including cultural diversity, dramatic light contrast and unconventional depictions of human form. A wide range of media was utilised by the three artists and the work displayed is the culmination of some nineteen months endeavour in the studio. In this new Visual Arts course, the students are also required to produce a Process Portfolio and a Comparative Study, which is an opportunity to demonstrate research and analysis linking their work to that of other artists. We congratulate the three students on a wonderful Exhibition and wish them every success with their IB results and in their future careers beyond St Christopher’s.
