A Peachy Treat!

PeachTrip

On May 4, Years 2, 3 and 4 were accompanied by teachers to see ‘James and the Giant Peach’ at the Cultural Hall. Excitement was palpable! The show began with an introduction to the characters and the children were immediately enthralled. Everyone felt for poor James as his cruel aunts were mean to him. It was such a relief when he escaped their clutches and found himself in the centre of a gigantic peach! His problems had only just begun though! Thankfully, he made some good friends in the form of a ladybird, spider, earthworm, centipede and grasshopper and they collaborated to get back to safety after finding themselves in the ocean. What a great show! The songs were catchy, the humour was fun and the audience could hardly contain themselves when the peach flew across the hall! Noorie from 3F said “That was amazing!”
