The Senior School Chamber Concert that took place on Wednesday 26 October was another night of great performances, showcasing the smaller ensembles that rehearse regularly throughout the year. The concert included Large Brass and Arnold Brass, Flute and Woodwind Groups, SenCris Guitars, Glee Club, Intermediate and Senior Strings, a Piano Trio, as well as the Big Band.
The Chamber Concert is the first concert of the year for the Instrumental department and many students were performing for the first time at the Senior School. Some were performing in their first concert ever. This always makes the Chamber Concert special. This concert provided audiences with a plethora of musical styles from Mozart to Gershwin and Damase to Lennon and McCartney. There was something for everyone. Our musical students performed to an exceptionally high level and should be very proud of themselves, having produced a concert of such merit so early on in the academic year. Well done!
