Junior Boys

Over forty boys turned out for Volleyball practices and, as a result, we took five teams to play in the festival tournaments. The progress these students made over the six weeks was fantastic. The students were able to demonstrate their advanced skills during the festival tournaments. The end of season Championship tournament took place at the British School and St Christopher’s entered three teams. These teams did exceptionally well, finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Junior Girls

Junior Girls Volleyball practices and matches have been attended this season by a committed and enthusiastic group of girls. From non-players to those with limited experience to those who have played on a regular basis, the Squad of girls have all come together and developed their skills and team work over the last six weeks. Initially, we travelled to the British School for fun tournaments, playing alongside girls from Bahrain School and The British School. The latter tournaments saw us based at home and the Season Ending Competition saw the St Christopher’s ‘A’ Team finish Runners- up to a very strong British School ‘A’ Team. All the girls need to be congratulated on their continued sportsmanship, their enthusiasm in the games, whether winning or losing, and they should be proud of the way in which their skills have improved.
