‘The Night Before Christmas’ and all through the house,

Not a creature was stirring except for a mouse,

Five monkeys that jumped and fell on their knees,

Santa that got stuck in a sooty chimney,

A star that twinkled like a diamond in the sky,

Christmas trees that hung stockings up high.

Bells that jingled, all the day through

And tasty puddings for me and for you.

Happy mums and dads, so proud,

Of all the children singing aloud.
