Awards to Outstanding Students

Prizewinners

St Christopher’s School’s Annual Prize Day took place on Monday 22 June 2015 at the Saar Auditorium. The event, which was attended by over five hundred honoured guests, students, parents and teachers, celebrated a range of exceptional student achievements, primarily from Year 8 to Year 12. Following the opening address by Head of Senior School, Mr Nick Wilson, the large audience was highly appreciative of three excellent musical performances. Cantata sang Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, Violinist, Michel Toutoungy played Legende by Wieniawski and Saxophonists, Samuel Caley and William Caley played Sonata in C by Carlo Besozzi. Following an address by Guest of Honour, His Excellency, Mr Iain Lindsay, British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Awards were presented to students by School Principal, Mr Ed Goodwin, Secretary to the Board of Governors, Mrs Suha Matar, Mrs Bridget Lindsay and Mr Iain Lindsay.

In his closing address, Mr Goodwin presented long service awards to Mr Srini, Mrs Ann Hussein, Mrs Ruth Judge, Mrs Geraldine McKinney and Mrs Alison Woods. Mr and Mrs Lindsay were presented with a painting by Year 13 Artist, Yumna Khan. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Head Girl, Alexandra Pafford and Head Boy, Reece Guyon.
