Will You Become A SPARTA Legend?

St Christopher’s is proud to announce the opening of

SPARTA – The Sports and Arts Academy of St Christopher’s in January 2013.

Under the leadership of Gareth Holloway, SPARTA Director, we already have over 400 children and adults from St Christopher’s and the wider community benefitting from top-class coaching in the  areas of: rugby, athletics, football, cricket, tennis and fitness. With the launch of SPARTA, we will build on these activities with the introduction of swimming in the new indoor pool and in a later phase: drama, music, dance and languages.

SPARTA embraces a competitive spirit with a friendly approach, and with a team of highly qualified and experienced coaches, excellence will always be on the agenda. Courses will be offered to all age groups and participants will be able to expect the highest level of coaching to ensure that skills and technique are enhanced and developed progressively. Sports such as football, rugby and cricket will be played competitively in leagues within Bahrain.

The SPARTA admin area will be situated in the exciting new building at Saar, which will shortly also house a gymnasium, a dance studio and an additional multi- purpose space.

SPARTA is being sponsored exclusively by Euro Motors and we are proud to be aligned with their brands Land Rover and BMW. Paul Yates, General Manager said  “SPARTA’s contribution to the community is in line with one of Euro Motors’ major core values, supporting the community by way of enhancing knowledge and developing new skill sets, thus when the opportunity arose to support SPARTA, it was an obvious choice for Euro Motors”.

Everyone is welcome to come along to the SPARTA launch day on Saturday 12 January 2013,  to try out a variety of sports and experience SPARTA first hand. Just remember to wear your sports kit! It promises to be an excellent day of competitive fun.

Bring your friends – SPARTA is open to all.

We look forward to seeing you on the day.
