On Monday evening 27 May, St Christopher’s School’s GCSE, AS and A-level Art Exhibition was formally opened by His Excellency, Mr Iain Lindsay OBE, British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Mr Lindsay had the opportunity to privately view the Exhibition in the company of Mr Ed Goodwin, Principal, Mr Wilson, Mrs Maureen Stephenson, School Governor, and Art Department staff, Ms Paula Carr, Head of Department, Mr Ben Faux and Mr Joe Mulleague prior to the formal opening to the public. Following welcome addresses by Mr Nick Wilson, Head of Senior School and Mr Lindsay, the large numbers of students, teachers, friends and families moved to the Exhibition Hall to view the displayed work of the forty artists featured in this year’s Exhibition, whose work was also captured in the elegant Art Catalogue. The School is extremely proud of the students’ creativity, originality and high quality of the Art work on display.
