Unplugged VIII

Unplugged VIII was yet again a phenomenal evening featuring high class musicians from all Year groups. As always, students performed a variety of styles including pop/rock and even some rap! The concert featured solo artists as well as bands and the students’ hard work paid off as the performances were of a professional standard. The programme included tear-jerking songs alongside ones that you wanted to dance to, especially the final act which featured two of our Year 7 musicians singing a pop/rap duet. It was a delight to hear our Year 13 student Rayan Bannaei perform one of his own Jazz compositions, his passion and natural showmanship wowed the audience and everybody was captivated by his impressive improvisation skills. As always, a big thank you to all of our technical helpers, especially Joel Thomas who was in charge of the sound; your hard work is always appreciated. An unforgettable evening, thoroughly enjoyed by all who came to support. We are already excited about the next Unplugged concert on 30 April 2015 – See you there!
