A Level Scripted Examination Performances
On 11 March, the Year 13 Drama students performed a group performance and a range of monologues to an invited audience and an external examiner. The afternoon began in the Drama Studio, with a group performance of ‘The Women of Lockerbie’: a thought-provoking examination of events surrounding the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. This sophisticated and emotive performance both moved and challenged the audience. This was followed by the students performing monologues from a range of scripted plays in the Drama Hall. Feedback on the performances was unanimously positive – Mrs Leap and Mrs Beck were very proud of the students delivering such outstanding pieces of theatre.
