It was the annual LS party on 24 June and in the words of one of the children who attended ‘It was the best school party ever!’ The theme this year was the World Cup and keeping with tradition there were activities in all of the rooms for the children to participate in, from mask making to cookie decorating and a football shoot out on the X Box Kinect. As described by one child ‘everywhere I looked I saw happy faces and I had one of them’.  The children also had the opportunity to make their own ‘Football Top Trump cards’ and show off their Samba dancing skills.

Anybody who has attended LS throughout the year could attend the party, so it was a busy affair.  It was lovely to see some of the older pupils helping the younger ones on the penalty shootout.

The LS team are all incredibly proud of the hard work and perseverance every child has demonstrated this year and it was lovely to see them all having so much fun. One child was overheard as the bell rang, saying ‘I had a really good time, times 100,000 and can’t wait until next year.’ Neither can we!
