Fire Engine Fun
During two weeks in May, all Year 2 classes visited Isa Town Fire Station. The children listened attentively to a presentation about the work of the Bahrain Fire and Safety Service and what to do in the event of a fire. The children loved the opportunity to climb in and on a fire truck, spray a water-gun, listen to the sirens and take a look around a fire station. The men of Isa Town Fire Station have been gentlemen and we cannot thank them enough for their time, kindness, patience and humour. We had to do a double head-count upon leaving; some of the children expressed a desire to stay and join up.
