Jules Verne Scholarship

For the fourth consecutive year, the French Embassy in Bahrain has awarded Scholarships to St Christopher’s students to spend two weeks in the South of France on the Cote d’Azur. The Scholarships cover the costs of accommodation, full board, a range of excursions to Monte Carlo, Grasse, St Tropez, Monaco and Cannes, and French tuition in the Azurlingua School in the beautiful city of Nice. After formally applying and following an interview with Assistant Heads of Senior School, Mrs Hilary Rowark and Mr David Williams, Athena Puri 10A and Giselle Nascimento Dias 10G were awarded the Jules Verne Scholarships. They will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the language of Moliere. We wish them every success in this exciting linguistic and cultural adventure.
