Year 1 Knights and Princesses Day was a right royal success! The year group was awash with knights, princesses, kings, queens and even a dragon After parading outside in their finery, everyone settled down to a huge range of royal activities. Children made spoon puppets, fired catapults, decorated drinking goblets and drew knights, as well as making wands and flying dragons. The children certainly built up an appetite for their royal feast of cheese, fruit, pies and bread, in keeping with the time. Thank you so much for your help and support in providing such wonderful costumes for your children – it really is appreciated.
