Culture Vultures at the Museum
Year 4 recently visited Bahrain National Museum as part of their project on “Traditional Crafts of Bahrain”. A wonderful day was had by all the Year 4 classes with the students becoming totally immersed in the fantastic and authentic displays the museum had to offer. The day also proved to be a wonderful opportunity for the children to practise their photographic skills, so the sound of happy clicking was a constant echo around the halls of the museum. It was both a great way to actively research our current humanities topic and to start our new ICT unit where we will be travel presenters. We certainly now have some fantastic photographs to produce a visual presentation of our wonderful outing.
