Paris trip

In April, Year 6, 7 and 8 students, accompanied by Mr Jamel Bazzouz, Mrs Nassima Chebel, Mrs Farah Qureshi and Mrs Catherine Walker, had the privileged opportunity to visit the magnificent city of Paris. During the week, the students were very busy visiting famous landmarks and places such as Le Louvre, the Palace of Versailles, the Musée d’Orsay, Notre-Dame Cathedral and Montmartre. One of the many highlights was the cookery class with Mr Pierre Sang-Boyer, winner of the French equivalent of Master Chef in France. In his French/Korean fusion restaurant, students prepared sushi, fondants au chocolat and tasted some Cantal cheese, a cheese which originates from Mr Boyer and Mr Bazzouz’s common birth place in France, la Haute-Loire. The trip was an outstanding experience for each and every student. They finished the week dancing along to ‘Happy’ on the most famous avenue in the world next to the Arc de Triomphe.
