Sharing the Learning
Nursery parents spent two afternoons learning about the Nursery curriculum with talks by Assistant Head, Gillie van der Eyken and Literacy Subject Leaders, Jo Nicoll and David Brandreth.
Workshops hosted by the Nursery teachers outlined the typical activities undertaken by the children in their Nursery day, with detailed explanation as to the learning taking place. They also focused on early literacy skills, including mark-making and emergent writing, phonics and pre-reading skills.
