What’s done is done
In December, the Year 12 A-lLevel Drama students performed their first examination performances. Two groups performed thought-provoking pieces of their own devising. The first group (Thomas Emanuel, Nicole Saleh, Sophie Wilkinson and Aisha Raheem) looked at crimes committed by those suffering with mental illness. The second group (Lucy Baker, Yasmeena Fontaine, Abdulla Al Salah and Zein Osseiran) explored the trauma surrounding survivors of 9/11. Both groups took inspiration from Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’ and the work of Frantic Assembly. Feedback on the performances was unanimously positive and Mrs Leap and Mrs Beck were very proud of the students delivering such inspiring pieces of theatre.
