#HowDoYouSeeMe

With the aim of raising awareness of World Down Syndrome Day, 21 colleagues at the Senior School (plus one energetic parent!) decided to walk to work on 19 February. Also called Trisomy 21, Down Syndrome is a genetic disorder caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21, so fittingly WDSD is celebrated on 21 March. The group set off from Saar at 4.15 am, long before the sun rose and alarm clocks began to ring. Aside from the walk, a competition is being organised to design a WDSD t-shirt, which will be worn by students and staff on 21 March. The happy ramblers were treated to a delicious breakfast at the Isa Town campus, having completed the 14km walk!
