St Chris Champs
The first 7 a-side inter-school football competition was run in partnership with the PE department and SPARTA. Students were allowed to select their own team (with a maximum of 3 squad players per team) and choose their own team name, which led to an interesting collection of team names. Global Trotters were subsequently crowned St Christopher’s Champions League champions having won all of their matches and having a very impressive goals tally of 23 goals scored and only 2 conceded. To add to this, Ali Al-Nusuf collected the golden boot for the tournament having scored 7 of the Global Trotters goals.
We hope to continue the St Christopher’s Champions League in the summer term and into the next school year.
