BSME U13 Games

The BSME U13 Games, which were hosted by St Christopher’s School, although organised by Dhahran British Grammar School, took place from 16-18 January 2014 and proved to be a highly dynamic and successful feast of sport. More than 300 students representing 12 schools participated in Athletics, Football, Netball and Volleyball throughout the three days of competition. In Athletics, the Boys and Girls Teams were placed 4th overall; in Football, the Girls took 1st place winning all their matches without conceding any goals and the Boys came 3rd; in Netball, the Girls were placed 5th and in Volleyball, the Boys achieved 5th spot. At the Gala Lunch on the final day, St Chris students were delighted to collect the BSME U13 Runners-Up Trophy. Students were extremely appreciative of the hard work, support and encouragement on the part of the Team Coaches:  Mark Little, Hilary Rowark, Helen Stewart, Rob Subbiani, Monika Subbiani and Tom Vaughan. Adam Shamma (Captain) reports that he was delighted with the great team effort from everyone and with the outstanding individual performances in Athletics from Mounir Hinedi, acknowledging the motivation provided by coaches in training before and throughout the event.
