Animals! What fun!
Reception were fortunate with the weather last week as they set off for Al Areen on a bright, clear day. The children loved looking at all the animals, with the particular favourites being the zebras, the cheetahs and the chimpanzee. We managed to see the pelicans being fed and we even had a cheeky camel trying to have a closer look at the children! Some groups were fascinated by the porcupines grooming each other and enjoying the sunshine. The children did not forget their search for minibeasts as this is our topic at the moment and many were very successful, finding spiders, ants and worms. Thank you to all the parent helpers who came to support this trip, as ever, these trips could not go ahead without your help.
