Charity Lends a Helping Hand to Children in Need

The ‘Helping Hands Charity Breakfast’ was initiated by St Chris parents in 2015, as a fundraising event ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. The event was originally organised to raise funds to gift our Security Team with a monetary bonus in recognition of their dedication to keeping our children safe.

In its fourth year, thanks to the generosity of the St-Chris community, the event raised an outstanding total of BD 17,939!

The initiative was able to extend support to a number of beneficiaries across the Kingdom: Children and Mother Welfare Society, Hope Institute for Special Education, Prince Sultan Bin A.Aziz Al Saud Hearing and Speech, Al Rahma Society for Disabled Care, Al Sanabel Orphan Care Society, Ministry of Health (supporting the purchase of medical equipment), Child Wish Society, and Isa Town Charity Society.

The organising team, Nancy and Aniseh, supported by members of the St Chris Leadership Management Team, invited our Security Guards, and representatives from local charity groups into the school to receive the donations.

We were delighted to see the ‘Helping Hands’ team, joined by Ed Goodwin and Wendy Bataineh, visit the oncology center in Salmaniya Medical Complex to donate a new sponsored ECG machine to the children’s oncology ward as well. We would like to thank everyone for their help in supporting this fantastic annual community event!
