Who was this?

Raiders of the Lost Dilmun

The Year 6 students enjoyed a fun-packed, yet informative, school trip to the Saar dig and the National Museum. Armed with clipboards and pencils, these mini  “Indiana Jones'” set out to discover the secrets of the ancient Dilmun civilisation that flourished on the island over 3000 years ago. Eagerly, they explored the ancient ruins of Saar and the National Museum seeking out evidence that would give them an insight into the lives of these ancient people.

“I was both delighted and impressed by their enthusiasm,” said Year 6 teacher Christine Clarke.  Student, Kevin Linton, summed up this delightful day by adding, “It was great fun and we learnt so much.”
