On a High Note

The second Bahrain Young Performers Festival took place between the 18 and 21 November. Hosted by the British School of Bahrain, the Festival draws pupils from schools throughout Bahrain in areas of Music, Dance, Poetry and Monologues. Musically, there were 18 Heats that included Brass, Percussion, Piano, Strings and Woodwind, as well as Ensembles and Choirs. St Christopher’s students were awarded first place in 17 of these Heats! At the Final, where performers from all areas of the Festival compete against each other, St Christopher’s School musicians were awarded 4 of the 5 trophies.

All of the St Christopher’s School musicians that took part achieved extremely high results. Well done to all of the performers, including the teachers and the accompanists.
