Celebrating Unity
This year, Bahrain Day on Thursday 10 December, was a day of great fun for the whole school.
Events and activities were planned to recognise and celebrate the rich heritage and culture of the local area and to commemorate National Day. Over 1000 students, from Year 1 to Year 6, were involved in special activities in the Arabic classroom area which had been decorated especially for this special day.
Activities included: henna, Arabic calligraphy, pottery, incense and fragrances, weaving, photo booth, falconry, ceramic painting and basket-weaving and Arabic foods.
Our heartfelt thanks to all of our sponsors and volunteer parents. Without their support, our celebrations would not have been possible.
