Congratulations Edward Goodwin OBE

(Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire)

Pupils, staff and Governors at St Christopher’s School are delighted to be able to congratulate our Principal, Ed Goodwin, upon his prestigious OBE, awarded in the 2014 New Year’s Honours List. This is a well deserved recognition of the many years of commitment to St Christopher’s School, education and bringing schools together from across the Middle East under the British Schools of the Middle East banner. Under Mr Goodwin’s leadership, the school has grown in size and stature and is rightly regarded as an outstanding place of learning within the local community and the international independent school network.

Mr Goodwin will be invited to travel to Buckingham Palace within the following few months to receive his OBE from a member of the Royal Family. The Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire medal is awarded to people who contribute significantly within their role, to the local and wider community. Mr Goodwin has been tireless in his determination to develop St Christopher’s as a school of excellence.

Ed is delighted and honoured to have been nominated for this prestigious and special award and how very fortunate we all are at St Christopher’s and the BSME to be associated with it!
