Anniversary of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Charity Walk
St Christopher’s was happy to support the “Anniversary of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games” – Charity Walk Bahrain on Saturday 5 October. The weather and time of day was perfect for a walkathon and helped raised funds for disability organisations in Bahrain.
The event was supported by H.H. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and H.E. the British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Iain Lindsay. Cameron Sandy said, “I really enjoyed taking part in the Charity walk, seeing Shaikh Nasser and running with the British Ambassador”. Lesley Moorey added, “It was enjoyable being able to participate in an event with my colleagues, which brought so many people together for a good cause.”
