On a more Serious Note
On Wednesday 15 April, we had a fabulous number of attendees for what may be the last ever SATs talk to Year 2 parents, as the future of assessment throughout UK schools are in the middle of a complete change. These are exciting times as this will see a whole new approach to the assessment of children from 4 to 11, in the next 12 months and beyond!
Mrs Dawson presented a detailed talk on the purpose, rationale and framework for the SATs at the end of Year 2 and both she and Mr Churchill answered questions and spoke to parents at the end of the talk.
Parents who were unable to attend can see their class teacher to get further information on the upcoming SATs which begin in May.
