Celebrating our Leavers
On Monday 29 May, St Christopher’s School celebrated the rich achievements and contributions of the Year 13 students at the Year 13 Commencement Ceremony, which was held in the Saar Auditorium, an event which was attended by over 500 students, parents, guests and teachers. Commencement Certificates and Academic Subject Prizes were presented by Principal, Ed Goodwin OBE, Head of Senior School, Nick Wilson, and Head of Year 13, Andrew Beck. Celebratory addresses from Nick Wilson, Ed Goodwin, Guest of Honour, Sean De Souza (Alumnus – Class of 1999), Head Girl, Michaela Sandy and Head Boy, Anish Vishwakoti were interspersed with three delightful musical performances. Flautist, Lulu Alsugair performed Sonate pour Flute et Piano by Francis Poulenc, the Cello (Matthew Holman), Flute (Lulu Alsugair) and Piano (Théa Toutoungy) Trio played Sonate en Concert by Jean-Michel Damase and the Jawhara Choir sang Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan. We wish all the students every continued success in the next chapter of their lives.
