Helping our Community

Each year, the Year 8 students work together in their Mini-Enterprise project to raise money for charity. We have seen a wonderful range of business ideas and approaches that have demonstrated a high level of creativity, organisation and leadership skills. The funds raised in this excellent project have been divided between two local charities. Mrs Kristina Bourner, Mr Brian Steene and a group of Community Service Captains were pleased to present the funds to Tony the Dogfather and the Migrant Workers’ Protection Society. Volunteers from the MWPS were particularly interested in speaking to the students about their fundraising efforts. The representatives from the Charity explained how the funds will be used to help others in Bahrain and they thanked the St Christopher’s Senior school community for the on-going support. Well done to the Year 8 students for all of their hard work in this exciting initiative!
