Coffee and a Chat in Learning Support
Parents with children in Learning Support dropped in to see us, and over a coffee, met the staff with whom their child works. The team were on hand to offer advice and suggest strategies that could be used at home. The parents were able to play a range of the games (which can be borrowed for use at home) as well as pick up information leaflets that included recommendations for Apps and websites.
Two great Apps that support fine-motor control and handwriting development are ‘bugs and buttons’ for younger children and ‘dexteria’ for older children. We hope you enjoy trying these out at home!
The next Coffee Afternoon is on the 20 February.
