Going for Gold in Scotland

In July 2013, 19 students and 2 staff members will be setting off for the Gold International Award Expedition. This year, the group will be travelling to The Trossachs National Park in Scotland. The group are in the final preparation stage, focussing on their route, map reading skills and equipment checks. This is the first Gold Expedition to be held in Scotland and the group will be challenged by the mountainous terrain, the diversity of the weather, and, of course, the infamous midges. Good luck and safe travels.
