Roll Out the Red Carpet
Over 60 Year 8 and Year 9 students attended this red carpet extravaganza in the Drama Hall on Thursday 17 March. The evening began with the arrival of the elegantly attired A List guests under the lights of the customary photoshoot. A haute couture show followed in which a selection of contemporary fashions were cat walked by the school’s top models. Guests were seen dancing the night away until the presentation of awards for best actors, supporting actors and best dancers brought a close to the evening. The cast were heard to say it was the best Oscars ever. Many thanks to the Student Council and supporters for organising the event and to Eli Saghbini 8B for his energising performance as the Oscars DJ.
