Lets Debate …
The Year 8 Debating Tournament concluded on Tuesday 8 March, with the team from 8E winning for the second year running! A large audience, including many teachers, attended the final and the motion was ‘THBT Bernie Sanders is America’s best hope for the future’. A huge congratulations to the winning team; Thomas Milnes, Nabeel Hussain, Sinaan Ali and Riddhiman Mehra. Well done to the finalists, who put up an extremely good fight; Rafae Mian-Cudmore, Vansh Patel and Salman Hussain from 8F. Both teams were exceptionally well prepared and a big thank you to all of the teachers involved in the many, many debates in the lead up to the final!
