New Experiences
With two practices under our belts, the Junior and Intermediate Boys set off to Bayan School with a sense of trepidation and excitement to play, what for many, was their first ever Handball match. After a few rule clarifications and a warm up, the match began. Very quickly the nerves vanished as our competitive instincts kicked in. Despite little experience of this sport, our innate athleticism helped and we quickly hit the front. The sportsmanship on display was great to see from all teams. All three games were very tight, but we ended up victorious, with the Junior Boys winning 11-6, the Intermediate Boys A squad winning 9-7 and the Intermediate Boys B squad winning 13-12. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the new experience and conducted themselves in an exemplary manner.
