St Christopher’s Infant and Junior Schools had a lovely visit from The Very Reverend Butt at the end of the Spring term on Palm Sunday to celebrate Easter. The children were enthralled by the retelling of the Easter story and listened carefully to the significant events. It was fantastic to sing some of the more traditional Easter hymns together, such as ‘Lord of the Dance’ and ‘When I Needed a Neighbour’ and so a special thank you to the music department for their help there. The Muslim children were also similarly entranced by the very interactive Muslim assembly where the five pillars, and in particular, Ramadan, were discussed. The children enjoyed listening to the various events that occur in this exciting build up to Eid.
