Friendship, Fantastic Fun and Frolics!
If you go down to the school today
You’re sure of a big surprise.

For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today’s the day the
Teddy Bears have their picnic.
Picnic time for Teddy Bears,
300 Teddy Bears are having
A lovely time today.
Watch them, catch them unawares,
And see them picnic on their special day.
See them jumping on a clown,
They bounce up and down,
They never have any cares;
At the end of school their Mommies and Daddies
Will take them home to rest,
Because they’re tired little Teddy Bears.

Every Bear who’s been ever been good
Is sure of a treat today.
There’s lots of marvelous things to eat
And wonderful games to play.
Beneath the trees where nobody sees
They’ll hide and seek as long as they please

Teddy Bears have their picnic.

The children from the Friendship Kindergarten for the Blind, Nursery and Reception had so much fun at our annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic.
The teddy maths games, ‘Bear Hunt’, surgery and bike rides proved very popular. However, the bouncy castle was the top of the list for appeal. A big bouncy thank you to Jood’s mum and dad for their contribution to the fantastic fun! Another very popular activity of the day, especially for the children from Friendship Kindergarten, was our new, outdoor musical instruments. So much so, that Nursery and Reception wish to donate their Mufti Pyjama Day money to buy the kindergarten some of their very own. Our new friends will be coming back for another visit in Term 3 to enjoy our wonderful Nursery resources. We are really looking forward to spending some more fun times with them!
