Year 4 Rainforest Day was action packed with plenty of opportunities for the children to show off their creativity as well as using their knowledge of the rainforests of the world. The classrooms were full of colour as everyone came dressed in colours of the rainforest. There were even some very wild looking rainforest creatures prowling round throughout the day.

All the children created their own rain sticks which proved to be a very messy and noisy task. The sound of 150 rain sticks will be reverberating through the activity street for weeks to come. The rainforest quiz was challenging but the children of Year 4 rose to the task and used their vast knowledge of rainforest facts to answer questions against the clock. Some children even had time to create their own rainforest tribal masks.
