As part of the Spring of Culture, St Christopher’s Senior School were offered a masterclass by the professional pianist, Steven Lin. This was a fantastic opportunity and about 30 of our students listened intently to a short performance and then observed a masterclass with three of our young pianists. Steven was able to demonstrate some simple but highly effective changes to their playing technique which really enhanced their performances. The question and answer session was a real insight into the life of a young professional pianist and the students were suitably inspired!
