One of the highlights of the Year 2 study of The Great Fire of London is a visit to a working fire station. During the visit, the children had an opportunity to learn about the work of the Bahrain Ministry of Civil Defence, watched a demonstration of fire fighters at work, saw, close-up, the big, yellow fire-trucks and used a fire hose to extinguish a (controlled) fire.
