Year 4 enjoyed a very informative trip to the Bahrain National Museum in October where they continued their learning on Bahraini crafts. They found out about all the traditional craftspeople who make and sell their wares at the Souq. They also discovered how different illnesses used to be treated using a variety of herbal remedies. “ I liked the fact that I learnt lots of new facts!” said Ava from 4C. Lots of the children were extremely impressed with the fabulous model of a dhow. A few children commented that they would love to go back to the museum with their parents to see all the other amazing displays.

“A great morning and a lovely opportunity for the children to see some of the traditional crafts in person,” said one of the teachers.
