Viking Visit …
On Thursday 22 January, ‘The Vikings’ invaded St Christopher’s main hall in Saar! Well, actually it was Artspot Theatre Company with their new fabulous show ‘Freya: A Viking Tale’. Year 2 to Year 6 were spell-bound by the opening scene where three Vikings, who were lost in the eerie Norwegian woods, ventured out into the audience with smoke machines and thunder claps shaking the timbers of the hall.
The children were mesmerised by the tale which took our main protagonist ‘Freya’ on a journey to recover the ‘Kraken’s Dagger’. Helena Mills (6C) said, “The show was amazing. The actors were really gifted…I hope they come back next year!”
